"This was a tricky brief and I had no idea where to get this done, but once speaking with Whitney Woods and seeing the samples they provided, I was reassured that they are the experts in this field.

With easy to use templates and guidance throughout from a very helpful team, the job was delivered ahead of time and to the great satisfaction of the client. Brilliant job and many thanks!"

AUTOMATIC POP-UPS FOR FANS OF CARD MAKING AND SCRAPBOOKING

We are often asked why our automatic pop-up products are not on sale in greeting card shops and the simple answer is “rubber bands”. Automatic, rubber band activated pop-up products need to be stored flat with the rubber band at full stretch in order for them to pop-up on opening. However, if an automatic rubber band pop-up was to be sold in a greeting card shop it might be stored flat and at full stretch for months – and therein lies the retail problem. Rubber bands start to lose their elasticity if stored at full stretch for longer than a couple of weeks and an automatic pop-up would be no good if it didn’t pop up!

The only way to offer an automatic pop-up product in a retail market is to either supply it in self-assembly kit form or to supply it ready-made only in the knowledge that it will be popped up straight away. The only way to do this is to supply pop-ups online to the card-making and scrapbooking community. We still have to do more research into the best way to present the idea but as soon as we reach a conclusion, the Pop-up Crafts website will go live.

POP-UP CRAFTS – SUPPLIES FOR CARD MAKING, SCRAPBOOKING AND DECOUPAGE

In the process of manufacturing our pop-up products for B2B market there is always an opportunity to fill the printed sheet with “extras”. We have been building up a collection of shapes which will go on sale soon for lovers of decoupage, scrapbooking and card making. We will also offer good prices on products that we buy at bulk purchase prices such as double-sided adhesive tapes and so on.The  Pop up Crafts website went live in January 2009.
