If you are looking for a way to increase your business then we might just have the way forward. We are looking for dynamic, forward-thinking marketing agencies to sell our products in the USA. We have a massive web presence (see PopupMailers for example) for the size of our own niche market and with each order value being quite high, business opportunities could prove to be quite lucrative. Ideally, we would like 3 agencies to cover East coast; West coast and Mid-West enquiries or we would like one agency with offices in the major US cities.
We have thousands of US visitors to our websites each month with many making enquiries for samples and prices. Every enquiry would be passed to you for follow-up and, as our European business partners have found, these equiries encourage lots of incremental business which could open up many new avenues and opportunities for you to explore.
Our business partner in the Netherlands, DirectMailing.nl, is a good example. We have a Dutch language website and all enquiries are passed on to DirectMailing for processing. Seeing the potential for new business, DirectMailing.nl launched their own website to encourage extra business in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg and business has taken off!
We would hope for similar promotional committment from our US business partner and we would back you with only first class services. All of our products are handmade here in England and every single item is imspected before it leaves our factory. We use only the best air-freight contractors to ship our goods and our marketing back-up services are second to none.
If you think that this could be an opportunity for your company, we would be happy to discuss your ideas. Please contact Helen Mihill for further details.

We have a very successful relationship with our Dutch business partner, DirectMailing.nl, who look after all enquiries from the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. Whilst we have a Dutch language website, all enquiries are passed through to DirectMailing for quotes. We are now looking to build similar relationships in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Scandinavia, Poland and Russia and would welcome enquiries from other European nations.
If your company is a forward-thinking marketing agency looking for a way to increase turnover and profits then we may be able to offer a way forward. We have a massive world-wide web presence in our niche market, receiving visitors from almost every country in the world. All enquiries from your own country would be passed on for you to follow up and, of course, as our friends in the Netherlands have discovered, this can lead to spin-off business. Our back-up marketing services such as supplying a terrific sample service will be available.
Production of all products would remain here in the UK where we can keep an eye on quality. Every single product is handmade and receives a personal inspection before leaving our factory. All packaging is of the highest quality and we use air freight via the world’s best carriers to ensure that your orders arrive quickly and in the best condition.
We are happy to discuss your ideas, though we would prefer it if you can speak good English as we are not a multi-lingual company. Please contact Helen Mihill for further details.

I’ve been looking at websites for mailing houses in the North West of England and I have been somewhat surprised by one feature that is common to almost all of them. There is little or nothing on the main landing page to tell the visitor what sets this mailing house apart from all the others. There is nothing to say, “Here’s why you should use us. Here’s what we offer that makes us better than the rest.”
I’m a great believer in the strength of the main landing page or the “home” page. All web designers worth their salt will tell you that the “home” page needs to have a strong, persuasive message and an inviting look. Google gives some brilliant tips on the subject - but I digress. The main thing that I want to talk about is how should you go about choosing a mailing house for your regular B2B mail promotions.
If your promotions are predominantly flat mail, containing nothing more than a letter and a leaflet and you mail out in hunderds of thousands then obviously you need a fully automated mailing house with full print facilities. Companies such as this deal with your mail in almost “production line” fashion. However, most B2B mailings are targetted at much smaller audiences with a need to get results. The trend is very much in favour of “dimensional mail” for its record of producing high response rates. An automated line for envelope filling is of little use if your mail is going into a custom made box or something similar. You will need a hand-fill specialist. You will find that most large companies with big, automated lines will also offer hand-fill services.
As we are B2B mail specialists, we don’t have an automated line. Everything that we do is done by hand and we’ve been doing it that way for about 20 years. However, choosing a mailing house is not just a simple choice between automated and hand-fill operations. You need to feel comfortable with a mailing house as you put a lot of trust in your chosen supplier to get your promotion right, do it in a clean and professional environment, do it with accurate and thorough ckecks and to do it on time.
We have offer 10 vital tips on how to choose a mailing house on our Mail by Hand website that should help make the process easier for you. Good luck!

The highly popular Pop-up Mailers website has been given a new look –or at least the “Home” page has a new look. It’s very difficult to decide which way to go with our main landing page. Returning visitors are already familiar with our products and so they will more than likely go straight into the site looking for the information that they require for their marketing campaign. New visitors, however, might need somesort of explanation as to what pop-up and interactive mailers are. Or should we tell visitors what they do, rather than what they are?
The aesthetic look of the page is certainly key to keeping visitors interested but the actual content is doubly-important. Still photos of pop-up cubes can look like boxes to a site newcomer and at a quick glance they could think that they had landed on a site promoting fancy packaging and gift boxes. Obviously, that’s no good, so we need to feature videos showing the products in action but without explanatory headlines, the visitor could think that the products were simply cardboard engineered curiosities.
We try to spell it out for the uninformed. These are dynamic dimensional mailers for use in B2B promotions. They generate terrific response rates and lead to a high rate of conversions. However, I am sure that even having put those points across, we will still have some visitors with a bewildered look on their faces asking, “But what do they do? What are they for?”. Even at trade shows for promotional products and with a big banner behind me saying, “Promotional Pop-up Products for B2B Marketing” the comments have been in the order of, “They look neat. What are they?”
I guess that we are in such a niche market that our product only speaks to the B2B market and to advertising and marketing professionals. Let’s hope that the new look landing page helps to make things clearer!

Our customers report impressive conversion to sales figures. Can anyone else testify to similar successes from Dimensional Mail?
There is plenty of info online reporting the high response rates generated by Dimensional Mail but not much on conversions to sales. We make Dynamic Dimensionals - pure marketing pieces that rely on customer interaction to generate results.
Our products are used predominantly in B2B direct mail promotions but to fulfil many different objectives; product launches, invites to trade shows, as experiential marketing tools, to reinforce relationship marketing bonds and as desk top gifts. We have reports of success in all areas but to put things in a nutshell, here are just two snippets to illustrate how the promotions translate into sales.
Here’s one from the Theatre Royal in Brighton, “It’s major appeal was that we were confident that recipients would show the item to friends or work colleagues which immediately multiplied the number of people seeing the information about our show. The Box Office went crazy after the mailing and it increased our sales by 20% on the previous year.”
And another from Be Creative, an advertising agency whose client reported, “Thanks guys - just to let you know the feedback on the cube mailing is extremely good. We had anticipated a 1% response on customers signing up online. Our objective was to strive for 1.5 - 3 %, however, I think my faith in creative design is restored as we have current figures showing a 9.6% uptake on the offer with new accounts opened and being used on a regular basis.”
No outlandish claims here, just honest input from genuine customers. You can check out our pure direct mail products on http://www.popupmailers.co.uk/index.php. We do not rely on executive gifts, toys or incentives for results.
