The major consideration when planning a B2B direct marketing program is how to make your customers take notice of your message. More often than not, your message will need the help of a fist class marketing tool such as our interactive marketing products. Your customer will interact with these clever marketing products over and over and certainly for long enough for your message to register. In addition, these products are rarely, if ever, thrown in the bin. They are often kept for years.
It is not just the fact that these marketing products are highly interactive that makes them so successful in Business-to-Business promotions; it is also in the imaginative ways in which they work. Fascinating movements have been created by innovative design concepts which can incorporate pictures that change and disappear or products that increase in size. Many of the movements will fit in with your sales message to become an integral part of the whole B2B marketing promotion.
One particular product features a movement that is not at all sophisticated but it is very amusing and highly interactive. We call the product “Wobbly Bits”. A die-cut shape is affixed to a picture using a small spring producing a really funny wobbly action. Many of our interactive manually-operated direct marketing products owe their popularity to their size. The Foldilocks card is an example of what is known as pocket media – promotional products that fit comfortably into your pocket, purse or handbag. Our Starburst product can be made in a variety of sizes but the most popular is A6 which easily fits into a jacket pocket. Our research shows that pocket sized products are particularly successful as hand-outs at exhibitions and events as they end up in the prospect’s pocket or bag rather than in the nearest waste bin.

The Pen Pal is a simple but effective piece of promotional merchandise that is popular in B2B direct marketing. It lies flat for mailing but one simple movement transforms it into a penholder that is 130mm high and 85mm diameter. It is available in various styles with 4, 6 or 8 sides and also with a header card
Slightly more advanced is the hexagonal pop-up pen pot which is a similar idea to the manual version above. The pop up version however has a clever rubber band mechanism inside making this pen pot jumps in to shape all by itself once the bespoke mailing wrap is opened.
Both pen pots are particularly popular at Christmas where they are often sent in place of an everyday Christmas card, the combination of the calendar and the pen pot together make it irresistible not to keep pride of place on its recipients desk the whole year round.
We can also make pop-up cubes, pyramids, houses and balls into pen holders as well. Attention-grabbing 3D pop-ups are fantastic direct marketing pieces and will make your B2B marketing and instant success but by transforming the piece into a penholder you instantly add longevity to your marketing campaign. Each one is custom printed in full colour and made in 500micron board.
Another fun desktop ides are Wobbly Bits mini show cards. These custom printed die-cut shapes can take any forme - the shape of a head, or a product or a logo. One greeting card company uses them in the shape of Wobbly Bums! They certainly add a high degree of fun and interaction to a promotional product and are a popular alternative to a pop-up card. The die-cuts are fastened in place on a spring which is what causes the wobbly action.

Secondly is the Springbox advertising item. Little brother of the Jumpinjax the Springbox will give your customer a high-impact surprise as four cubes pop up from the wrap style pack when it is opened. This element of surprise makes the Springbox a favourite as a direct mail promotion and also as a trade show giveaway.
Finally there is baby brother of the family, the Two Pop Box, a perfect promotional product, particularly as a give away product at a tradeshow. It is very compact and therefore is easy to store at the show but your visitors will keep it as it fits easily into a pocket. It offers a big surprise when opened as two pop up cubes jump out.

Whether you’re planning a B2B direct mail campaign, you need an agenda for an upcoming conference or even if you’re looking for a giveaway for a tradeshow or exhibition, to make your promotional print vibrant and dynamic you ought to consider pop up print products. There are a number of different 3D shapes in this family of products so you can choose one that reflects the theme of your marketing idea the best.
For example the Pop-Up House would be great as a ‘we have moved’ mailing. Its unusual and innovative 3D shape is powered with an automatic rubber band pop-up action. The Pop-Up House is terrific for Business-to-Business direct marketing as it can be printed as very many different types of building.
The pop up cuboid is extremely flexible and can be designed in a variety of shapes to match your marketing idea and has been popular as a cornflakes box, a shoe box and also as a coin collection or money box when we have added a coin slot to one surface.
Alternatively you may want a product that perhaps reflects your company logo, if you have a triangle in your logo the Pop-up Pyramid would make a great promotional item for you. The Pyramid is made up of four triangles (153 x 153 x 116mm) on a square base (116 x 116mm).
Each of the above products has its own mailing pack and is custom printed on 500micron board.

The first major plus point of our range of automatic 3D pop-ups is that each of these marketing products is supplied with its own mailing pack which will be easily spotted in the stack of business mail that lands on your customer’s desk each morning. However, it is when the pack is opened that the 3D shapes really start to work for your direct marketing campaign. Our automatic 3D pop-up products are designed to grab your customers’ attention and as they jump out of the opened mailing pack they do exactly that, ensuring that your promotional marketing effort is a success.
Not every direct marketing promotion requires a mailing pack as it might be that a B2B campaign calls for a hand-delivered pack. In such instances, the size of the pack might play a considerable part. At an exhibition, for example, storage space may be limited and so a compact pack is preferable. However, your pack still needs enough space to carry your message and it must contain something special to capture your client’s imagination. Promotion packs such as the Jumpinjax, Springbox and the Two-Pop-Box are ideal pop-up packs for occasions such as these. Each packs a big surprise as pop-up cubes jump out on opening and they are always a big hit which will bring great rewards to your B2B promotion.
It is rare for our automatic pop-up products to suffer the fate of many other B2B marketing promotions as they are hardly ever consigned to the waste bin. Our pop-ups will stay on desks for years and one easy way to boost the longevity of your campaign is to select a pop-up that can be presented as a pen-holder such as the pop-up cube, pop-up ball or pop-up house.
