Company Christmas Greetings that Pop-up – A Cracker , A Christmas Tree and Christmas Boxes

August 31st, 2009 by admin

Christmas CrackerIf you are on the look out for something that will stand out as your company’s Christmas Greeting then look no further. Here we have some excellent Christmas symbols that each come with a fun pop-up action. Take a look.

Christmas Cracker

As a symbol of Christmas the humble Christmas cracker is quite possibly the most physical and noisy! It is a highly interactive product and contains the promise of a small gift, a party hat and a party joke. If you want to create a similar festive feeling to the Christmas cracker with your Christmas promotion then our Sideshooter might just fit the bill.

Christmas Tree Christmas Tree

With its connotations of being at home in a warm cheery atmosphere it is no surprise that the humble Christmas Tree is a popular choice of graphics for a company Christmas Card. However, being such a popular symbol means that it doesn’t always stand out in a crowd. If your company Christmas card is going to be a success then it needs to be noticed and in order to achieve that the card needs some added punch.

Christmas Box Christmas gift box

Even though it has been reproduced many times as a Christmas Gift Wrapped present, the pop-up cube always looks really good as a corporate Christmas card or company greeting when it is printed in this style. It can work equally well for many other seasonal promotions because of its obvious versatility.

The pop-up cuboids can be custom made to match the size that you require for your Christmas promotion. It doesn’t have to be printed as a gift-wrapped present. It could be a product box, perhaps it is a power drill for him or perfume for her, but it can add to the success of a Christmas marketing campaign.

The pop-up card in our picture was actually a winter promotion but it is not a Christmas design. However, ask your graphic designer to come up with some wrapping paper and ribbon and Bob’s your uncle! An ideal choice as a company Christmas card that isn’t too loud!

Promotional Christmas Decorations Pop-up Every Year as a Company Christmas card

August 30th, 2009 by admin

Businesses looking for something different as a company Christmas card find their way to our ChristmasMarketing website each year to look for that unusual product which will make their greeting stand out above their competitors’ efforts. The element of fun is a plus point in making the choice as is a “feel-good” factor. That’s what makes our range of pop-up Christmas decorations so popular. We have four pop-up polyhedrons that can be decorated to look like decorations and they all have a good pop-up action and a high degree of customer interaction. Here they are:-

 Pop-up DiamondPop-up Diamond

The pop-up diamond really comes into its own when you add a loop of decorative string. It is instantly transformed into a product that looks like a Christmas decoration. The loops are usually made in silver or gold and add to the festive appearance of the product making it an ideal choice to carry a corporate Christmas greeting.

 Hexapop hexapop

We call this product a Hexapop on account of it being a hexagonal pop up, which doesn’t take much working out! Like other products in this section this pop up polyhedron can be printed to look like an attractive Christmas decoration. We can add a decorative hanging loop made in silver or gold string and, added to your prowess in the graphics department, the polyhedron becomes a successful Christmas promotional product.

 Johnson 13 johnson13

This pop-up product looks really well when printed as a Christmas ornament to carry a company Christmas greeting. Add a loop of shiny string or elastic and it becomes a Christmas tree decoration. It will certainly catch the eye more than the lame offerings sent out by many of your competitors. This pop-up is suitable as a Christmas greeting or as part of a Christmas promotion.

 Snowflake  snowflake

The Snowflake is the single most popular shape in our range of Christmas greetings products. When a shiny hanging loop is added it just adds the icing to the cake and creates a perfect promotional Christmas greeting in the style of a Christmas decoration or a Christmas tree ornament.

Innovative Gift Card Packaging Improves the Gift Card Experience

August 29th, 2009 by admin

Today’s gift of convenience is a Gift Card. It takes away the hassle of trying to decide what would be the best present to buy. For example, what does Cousin Sally really want for her birthday? A gift card removes all of the guesswork and ensures that you do not waste your hard-earned money on an unwanted gift. It also saves time and effort wracking your brain over the problem.

One drawback, though, is that a plastic card is somewhat impersonal and is only slightly less impersonal than giving a cash gift. In order to move away from that feeling you could dress up your card with a gift cardholder or a card carrier.

Gift card malls have been around in the States for a couple of years or more and plastic card packaging solutions such as gift card carriers, card presenters and card holders are quite commonplace in North America. However, the gift card phenomenon is relatively new in the UK and Europe and packaging solutions are not as prevalent.

However, that is not to say that plastic card presenters do not exist in Europe and when you want to give your gift a more personal appeal you need to look for a unique gift cardholder or alternative gift packaging solutions.

As the gift card trend grows, cards are being bought to cover many different occasions, such as wedding presents, baby gifts and anniversaries. It would be nice to find a themed cardholder to match the occasion. When you buy a card, however, all that the store gives you is often just a simple 4-page card with slots cut to hold your card in place. You have to buy your own gift cardholder or plastic card packaging. Even though a card will be appreciated, it is neither attractive nor exceptional by itself.

An ideal way to present your gift is to choose card packaging that offers a prestigious feel in order to give your card the impression of having a special value. Packaging that resembles traditional gift packaging will also help to improve the gift card experience. This is much more likely than a plain card to display the true spirit of gift giving.

However, if you are shopping in the UK and Europe then you might not find too much choice readily available on the shelves alongside the selection of cards but there are many different ways to dress up the plastic card. Many shops sell attractive boxes and pillow packs that can be filled with tissue paper to help the presentation along. You can add to the pack by tying a ribbon to the box or affixing a self-adhesive bow.

If you are lucky enough to find a specially designed gift cardholder or card presenter you may be pleasantly surprised to find some really delightful designs and innovative packaging solutions. They are slowly but surely finding their way into retailers.

This type of effect is typical of that produced by a V-fold cardboard engineering technique and it will work very well in the production of a company Christmas card.

Company Christmas cards that will Pop-up Above your Competitors’ Offerings

August 27th, 2009 by admin

Every Christmas, companies all over the world will search for a Christmas card to set themselves apart from their competitors. They all want something that is a little bit different or a cut above; something that has a touch of originality or is slightly quirky or unusual. Almost inevitably, the search will commence too late in the year to do the job properly and the likely outcome is that the company Christmas card is, once again, just like all the others!

In order to give your company a real chance of achieving the aforementioned goals the search should really start no later than October and the search should start with your marketing agency rather than your local printer. We work with marketing and advertising agencies throughout the UK and Europe to produce Corporate Christmas greetings that offer a change from the norm and that includes the production of pop-up Christmas cards.

One of the problems that we find at Christmas more than any other time of year is that customers ask for the most complicated pop-up mechanics possible having seen just seen a triumph of origami in a greeting card shop that has been produced in China and retails for about £3.50. Such items are simply not suitable as a bespoke Christmas card produced in the UK in a 2 week turnaround. In order for a pop-up card to be commercially viable you must remember to keep it simple to keep it affordable.

The simplest and most common mechanics employed in making pop-up cards are the “V fold” and the “parallelogram stand-up”. Luckily, these two mechanics also produce very successful pop-up effects and they are relatively inexpensive to produce. We show examples of both movements on our product pages. The “V fold” is also used in the construction of the Pop Top card. Of course, there are other simple operations that offer different movements. Pull strips are often used to produce motion as in our “Happy Dogs” cards where the dogs are wagging their tails. The use of eyelets produces a circular motion or a bobbing motion as with our “Bobbing Duck” product.
