Make yourself ‘king of the castle’ with your next B2B promotional mail campaign

Created with direct mailing in mind, our pop up castle has numerous advantages for use in a B2B promotional mail campaign.  Firstly there are four large trapezoidal faces which have room for plenty of promotional print.  Add this with its clever pop up mechanism which is guaranteed to catch the attention of your customer as it jumps to life from its postal wrap.  And finally, the fact that it can be compressed flat in to its own all board postal wrap for mailing means in spite of its bulky final state it’s economical for mailing purposes.  That’s pretty much all the major boxes ticked!

Believe it or not there are ways to improve on this already fantastic product.  By adding a few holes to the top of the castle, the advertising product can be successfully converted into a very attractive pen holder. Every time your customer reaches out for a pen, your promotional message will come into view. Alternatively you could incorporate a calendar in to your design, 3 months of the year on each side.  These simple conversions will add months to the life of your promotion and ensures that you get maximum value for money from your advertising product.

The shape of this advertising product is based on its trapezium-shaped walls. These walls stand on a large square base and as they rise they grow narrower before arriving at the square top which is smaller than the base. This creates the appearance of a castle or tower. There are lots of companies with names that suit this shape – Tower Records and Castle Cement for example. A holiday company might also turn the castle up side down to transform it to a childs beach bucket.

Message on a bottle – a new promotional marketing idea for Whitney Woods

Quite recently as I was wandering down the wine and spirits aisle of my local supermarket gathering essentials for a party I was planning that weekend, I came across what is commonly known as a Bottle Tower.  Always on the lookout for new promotional ideas I was inspired by what I saw and my search swiftly changed from a bottle of wine to a search for bottle media. This continued over several weeks and across many different supermarkets, and at the end of it all I was a little disappointed with what I found.  This started me off thinking and all of a sudden I was struck by great opportunity for a new range of Whitney Woods Products – The Bottle Boutique.

I quickly set about creating the new range of bottle media products, the first of which was the Collar and Tie which is very simplistic and that proved that things don’t have to be complicated to work. Easy to use, easy to make and very easy on the eye – sounds like a winning formula to me!

I get a real glow when something that is really striking is also dead simple and the Butterfly Bow ticks both these boxes. The collar is based on the “fit” of The Tower bottle collar and the look of a bow tie. The wings of the bow form an attractive, eye-catching display and by adding those wings, we gained the space to be able to create the interlocking mechanism.  Once the basic mechanism was in place it was then simple enough to adapt the tabs at the front in to various eye catching shapes such as the Butterfly, Love Heart Bow and Star Bow.

All of the bottle media products in the range are supplied ready to use.  They come packed flat, folded and ready interlocked and as soon as you pick one up it is ready to slip over the bottle neck automatically forming a very distinctive display.

‘Wobbly Heads’ turn heads in B2B direct marketing

Our new Wobbly Heads are just another idea to help maximise the impact of your upcoming B2B direct mail campaign.  They allow you to add the ‘keepability’ factor to any marketing message and are available as a stand-alone item as well as being a versatile ‘add on’ to a variety of our existing pop up products.

 

By employing a spring mechanism this product offers a novelty ‘wobble’ motion, instantly attracting attention to itself and adding impact to any marketing campaign.

 

The stand-alone Wobbly Head card is made from 500 micron white lined folding box board and printed in four colour process on one side.  The mini strut affixed to the back of the card allows the product to stand independently on any surface, whilst the novelty motion of the Wobbly Head makes it an irresistible desktop companion.  The Wobbly Head can also be affixed to a pop up cube or pen pot or even a pyramid to add a new twist to an already successful existing theme.

Printed promotional calendars with pop-up action - great direct marketing idea

Sending a calendar as part of a direct marketing campaign isn’t necessarily the most original idea, but what about if that calendar also happens to turn into a pen holder – now that is something a bit different, doubling the chances of your marketing product and more importantly your marketing message being kept by your customer!

Pretty well any shape in our 3-D range can be printed as a desk top calendar and many of them can be adapted for use as pen holders. We have reproduced just a few regular choices on this site just to give you the idea but if you want something different just ask!

To date we have successfully given the ‘pen pot calendar’ treatment to our Ball, Cube, Castle, House, Pen Pals and Pyramids, and the beauty with all of these products is that they all have an automatic pop up action which adds to their attraction as a promotional direct mail item.

Each one of the products that is suitable for use as a desk top calendar starts life as a blank sheet of board which gives you the opportunity to create a totally unique marketing product. You can print the whole thing with whatever you want.
